Th stars were right, and the prophecy was fulfilled. The ancient text written on the walls of ruins of a long forgotten civilization glowed blue with power. It was a shame that nobody in the present day and age new of the ruin's existence, much less be able to read the long forgotten text if presented with it. It truly was a shame, for the prophecy foretold on the walls concerned the fate of the world....

The Gods Look Down..
The gods look down on the world they have created, assessing the beings that have since populated the world and built a mighty civilization. It has been ages since the gods departed this world, and the golden age of the gods and their time, and have since been forgotten, and largely relegated into myth. Nobody worships the gods anymore. The gods disapprove of what they see. The beings have no idea what is about to befall them, for the wrath of the gods is mighty. This is not the first time that the world has been cleansed of its people...

Alignment
Looking up into the sky, I watched in horror and amazement as the planet slowly came up into view, and blocked out the sun. The sun, bringer of life and light, was gone. Our glorious ages of light was replaced by a new age of darkness....

Beautifully cold
He gazed up in amazement at the night sky of this cold, frosty, ice covered moon. Tens of thousands of stars greeted his vision, each one like like a tiny point of cold light, far off in the distance, beckoning him.
